Calls to Action

What is a Call-to-Action?
The Call-to-action is a form of marketing that ensures that even visitors who do not make a purchase are not ignored, but are treated as interested and potential customers.
Calls-to-action can be best defined as statements that call upon the prospect to act immediately. Terms like "buy now," "call now," "available within 24 hours" and similar phrases are all considered call-to-action techniques.

Here are some of the techniques that Innovative FX will use when deploying the Call to Action across your Web site.

  • Call to Action On each web page - Let each web page carry a "Buy Now" tab so that, regardless of the Web browser's position on your Web site, the call-to-action formula can be applied to the browser.
  • Accessible Contact information – Always provide the prospect with your contact information along with the call-to-action phrase. At minimum, add a phone number and e-mail address to each Web page with a Call to Action to eliminate any obstacles that the prospect might face in attempting to contact you.
  • Immediate action – The call-to-action strategy thrives on immediacy. Given too much time to ponder a Buy decision, most people will delay a Web purchase. Thus it is critical that a sense of immediacy is established so that the potential customer feels that it would be in their best interest to act Now.
  • Illustrate results– When urging a web visitor to purchase a particular product, give supporting examples of why this would be a good idea. For example, you could write "buy now" and follow up with the example that "your sales force will stop chasing useless leads.”
  • Testimonials – Success stories by other clients go a long long way in establishing the validity of the proposed Buy Decision.
  • Novelty – Words like "never before" and "completely new" are great ways to capture the prospect’s attention before finally introducing the call-to-action phrase. a long way in increasing converts.
